About the event
You will learn the fundamentals of wet felting while creating a functional sauna hat from start to finish. We’ll cover fibre selection, layout, moisture and agitation, and how wool transforms through pressure and movement into a strong, seamless fabric.
This class is slow-paced and hands-on, with plenty of time to feel the process unfold. Wet felting is equal parts technique and intuition, and you’ll be guided through each stage while still being encouraged to experiment and respond to the material.
By the end of the class, you’ll leave with a finished sauna hat and the foundational skills needed to continue wet felting on your own. No previous experience is required, and all materials are provided.
Expect shared tables, warm water, good conversation, and a practical piece you’ll actually use.
