Intro to Woven Fibre Art ($95)

In this 3-hr workshop with Noah of Moss & Arrow, students will learn essential weaving and texture techniques to create vibrant, contemporary fibre art for your home.  Students will leave this class with a small finished wall hanging of your own design.

Students may take this class as well as Intro to Tapestry Weaving if desired. Intro to Tapestry Weaving focuses on traditional tapestry skills like colour blending and creating shapes; Intro to Woven Fibre Art focuses on creating three-dimensional textures using wool roving. Both classes provide instruction for tabby (plain) weaving and finishing techniques.

Looms and materials will be provided. This class is for complete beginners.
